Worship and Tech Team Opportunities

You are encouraged to be part of the team that ensures all LIFE Church weekend services are conducted with excellence so that people may worship and experience God in a Spirit-filled environment.

Worship Leader

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Join the on-platform worship team at LIFE Church. Effectively communicate and lead the worship ministry of a Worship Experience. Competently and confidently lead the worship team and the congregation in corporate musical worship.
Participate in regular vocal training. Teamwork, leading with a click track, and flexible musical skills are necessary.

Manned Camera Operator

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Responsible for operating the manned, center camera in the auditorium during worship experiences. The operator will receive direction from the switcher operator via a headset communication system and will adjust the camera accordingly. Through zooming, following, readjusting, and repositioning shots, the operator will help capture and enhance the worship experience for those who are not able to be in the room (livestream, recorded, simulcast, etc).

Broadcast Audio Engineer

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
"Run sound" for the Broadcast audio (livestream, closed circuit feeds, video production, etc) during Sunday morning services at least twice per month. Must be willing to learn the “LIFE Church Sound” and run sound according to the standards set forth by Pastor Jason and the Worship Pastor. Ongoing education and development and teamwork are necessary to ensure the execution of the Worship Experiences.

Front of House (FOH) ProPresenter Tech

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Operate the FOH ProPresenter computer. This computer displays song lyrics, videos, and sermon notes on the projector screens throughout the worship experience. It is essential for this person to be focused and anticipatory in their operation to ensure proper timing and execution of slides to be displayed.

Front of House Audio Engineer

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
"Run sound" for the Broadcast audio (livestream, closed circuit feeds, video production, etc) during Sunday morning services at least twice per month. Must be willing to learn the “LIFE Church Sound” and run sound according to the standards set forth by Pastor Jason and the Worship Pastor. Ongoing education and development and teamwork are necessary to ensure the execution of the Worship Experiences.

Vocalist

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Join the on-platform worship team at LIFE Church. Available  positions are lead vocals and background vocals. Vocalists are competent in their craft, learning essential parts for songs, and fully prepared for each worship experience. Participate in regular vocal training. Teamwork, leading with a click track, and flexible musical skills are necessary.

Musician

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Join the on-platform worship team at LIFE Church. Available positions are (but not limited to) Drums, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Piano, and Keyboard. Other instruments are also welcome and at various times. Musicians are competent in their craft, learning essential parts for songs, and fully prepared for each worship experience.  Participate in regular vocal training. Teamwork, leading with a click track, and flexible musical skills are necessary.

Broadcast Director

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Direct the entire Broadcast procedure (audio, video, camera, and computers). Communicate via headset communication devices to each position exactly what is needed and when it is needed to effectively deliver the worship experience to our remote viewers.

Broadcast ProPresenter Tech

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Operate the Broadcast ProPresenter computer. This computer displays song lyrics and sermon notes on the broadcast display throughout the worship experience. It is essential for this person to be focused and anticipatory in their operation to ensure proper timing and execution of slides to be displayed.

Remote Camera Operator

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Operate the remote PTZ cameras in the auditorium during worship experiences. These camera are operated via camera control units located in the Broadcast Room. The operator will receive direction from the switcher operator via a headset communication system and will adjust the cameras accordingly. Through zooming, following, readjusting, and repositioning shots, the operator will help capture and enhance the worship experience for remote viewing (livestream, recorded, simulcast, etc).

Lighting Designer/Director

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Build weekly lighting cues for each element of the worship experience as well as the positioning and location of the light fixtures to fully enhance and set the atmosphere for the worship experiences.

Lighting Tech

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Fire light cues at appropriate times throughout the worship experiences. Preset cues and on the fly “busking” will be utilized to effectively create the lighting atmosphere that is most conducive to the worship experiences.

Video Switcher

Sunday Mornings 6:15a - 12:45p
Utilize the video switching system to switch between different input sources (cameras and computers) for worship experience broadcasting. This includes communicating with the camera operators to identify shots and live cameras. Effective video switching is essential to enhancing and delivering the worship experience to our remote viewers.
